It was such a nice and sunny day in January and Butterfly was the dining of choice for lunch, a waterfront Asian cuisine restaurant. It's location is right on Pier 33 with floor to ceiling windows and has an awesome view of San Francisco's bay. The interior was beautiful, booming with people and the atmosphere was modern and vibrant. We got one of the best seats in the house, a waterfront view. Garlic sauteed edamame sprinkled with sesame seeds were complimentary and were super tasty! We order the fire fried calamari which were amazing! Each
bite delivered a powerful punch of flavor. I highly recommend it. I ordered the
Chicken salad club sandwich with sliced avocado, swiss cheese, bacon and fries. I thought it was a strange item for Asian cuisine, but none the less, it was pretty good. We also ordered the Kobe beef burger and fries which was yums. And for the grand finale, my favorite part of a meal, was an amazing
warm chocolate torte with coffee ice cream and rasberry compote oozing from the inside. Delish!! Overall, I loved the vibe of this place and I'd probably come back to try the dinner menu but I wouldn't say it's my favorite. Ta ta til next time...
