I'm feeling good and pumped because I just came from a weights class at the gym. Then I got a chicken salad at Panera =). It's crackin' good! I was looking at all the pastries and really wanted the chocolate croissant, but I didn't do it... it's one of my favorites! =) I've been trying to be good, indulging myself here and there. Hey! Can you blame me?! I love food too much. Haha.

So I was listening to the radio and they played one of my favorite songs from a year ago. It was when I first got introduced to Keri Hilson. I really like her and her album's pretty cool. This song was on the top hits music video on VH1 like everyday and I love it! =] And now it is time to hit the sack. Yes! It's late day tomorrow, I can sleep in for a little. Night!

Keratin Hair Treatment

I am totally up to date now! Drove to SF today to further my education and adding a new service under my belt. DiPietro Todd salon now offers a new service to those who have curly hair who wants more manageability by taming your frizz, softening curls, leaving hair soft, shiny and luxurious. With each treatment, the build up of Keratin will make your hair straighter, softer, silkier, shinier, fast and easy blowdry, and less maintenance on hair. It's not like Japanese straightening where you have to upkeep your roots. This treatment will last for 3 months or so, and will discipate and fade away for less maintenance on the root growout! Holla at me if you want it done! It's awesome!

Disneyland, Newport Beach

Alright, I think this is the last post before I am totally up to date. We went down south last Monday and survived the heat wave. We flew down Saturday April 18th after work and arrived at lame Long Beach airport around 8pm. I swear they havn't renovated since the 80's, gheeetttooo! We got our sweet Camry and I bought the Day 26 album at Target. Yeaa!! I love Making the Band! It's a pretty good album, cop that. And so our journey begins... we went to Joe's Sushi in Huntingtin Beach. It's a copy cat of Sushi Factory like here in San Jose. All you can eat sushi made me sleepy, so we checked into our sweet hotel Lemon Tree, a Spanish style newly renovated super cute hotel. We had brunch at Rain Forest Cafe at downtown Disney and went over to Disneyland at noon. By this time, the heat was definately blazing. We started at Adventure Land and our first ride was Pirates of Carribean. Ride lines were getting ridiculously long and the heat was unbearable so we left at 3pm and went to Irvine Spectrum to meet some peeps. We cooled off at DnB's, did some shopping and went back to the hotel to take a nap from the exhausting weather. We then went back to the park at 8pm and it was perfect! All the kids were leaving, and the weather was super amazing and we got to ride all the rides without long lines. We got to ride space mountain a few times, my second favorite (with Indiana Jones being my first). We watched fireworks and stayed til' midnight when the park closes. It had been a magical day! I love Disneyland! The next day, we went to beautiful Newport Beach and I got my tan on. I loved the scenery and could definately see myself living there. Unfortunately, my fun weekend had to end. I wanna move down south!

Lam's 30th Birthday

Hawaii Oahu

February 27.
This was a much needed vacay for me. I've been to Hawaii once before and definately had to come back to paradise. We stayed right on the water at the Outrigger. They had this awesome bar downstairs called Dukes where you can order bar food and have drinks while looking out at Waikiki beach. We had lunch there on the first day and it was poppin! It was packed with party people and the food wasn't bad either. I got myself a lava flow, one of my favorite girly drinks. Then we just basically hung out at the beach and walked around the town. It was windy when we got there which sucked ass, but the weather got warmer as the days went on. We went to Kailua beach the next day which was amazing! The water was sparkling blue except it was windy as hell! So we stayed for a bit, but went back to Waikiki beach where the weather was hot like fyyyah, perfect for tanning. We went to a luau at Paradise Cove at night and it freakin' started sprinkling so I had to throw on my stylish plastic poncho. But it stopped and we enjoyed the show. The next day we had some bomb ass sushi at Donroku sushi. Oh man it was good. I got my tan on, and the weather was nice and hot. We went shopping and had dinner. Then it was time to leave the next day... nooo! I didn't want to go back to reality. This trip made me realize a lot of things in life. There's so much to see in the world that I yearn to experience ! I even thought about moving to Hawaii to do hair. I came back to the Bay Area wanting a different life. I wanted to move elsewhere so badly, somewhere beachy. But as long as I keep traveling, I think I will be ok for now. To wrap this up, it was a very relaxing trip. Next time, Maui!

Allergies Shmallergies

OMG I can't stop sneezing! My allergies are really bad right now. My eyes are buggin' like crazy, my throat needs to be scratched, my nose is itching like a mother, and did I mention I keep sneezing?! GO AWAY pollen, dust, dander, whatever the heck you are, I dislike you. I really could take a claritin but I dont feel like it works. Ugh.. I'll just have to sleep it off..

Jen's Totally Awesome 80's Bday

February 21. Happy birthday to my girl Jen! I loved that it was a themed party where we had to dress up in 80's gear. Phi, Theresa and I went shopping for this special occasion and it was quite stressful. We didnt want to spend a lot of money but then we also didn't have a lot of 80's wear at home. Well, maybe Theresa does, ha ha JK Tmai! We did find stuff and came totallllllly awesome! It was so fun to see everyone dressing up and I had a blast! Gotta love Vinh's outfit... lol. Hope you had a blast too Jen. Actually, I know you did.

Steve 29th Birthday at B412

January 3. Happy Birthday Steve! This was an emotional night for me... but I always have fun with my friends regardless. You're getting old man!

Debbie Ma Celeste 31st Bday

January 22 and 25. I wanted to say Happy Birthday to my girl/sista Deb! We go waaaay back since Nordstrom days. I was probably 19 when we met. She was the Chanel girl, and I was new at Shiseido. She befriended me and showed me the way through the department. She was actually nice to me and was trying to teach me how to apply makeup. And those were the beginning days of our friendship... Hope you had a blast! We celebrated at Loft, then the party carried on through the weekend at B412 in Palo Alto. It ended with a small catfight with a drunk biznatch and her bf. Oh good times.. Hope you had a blast and sorry you lost your camera while trying to chuck it at her big head!

Butterfly Restaurant SF

It was such a nice and sunny day in January and Butterfly was the dining of choice for lunch, a waterfront Asian cuisine restaurant. It's location is right on Pier 33 with floor to ceiling windows and has an awesome view of San Francisco's bay. The interior was beautiful, booming with people and the atmosphere was modern and vibrant. We got one of the best seats in the house, a waterfront view. Garlic sauteed edamame sprinkled with sesame seeds were complimentary and were super tasty! We order the fire fried calamari which were amazing! Each bite delivered a powerful punch of flavor. I highly recommend it. I ordered the Chicken salad club sandwich with sliced avocado, swiss cheese, bacon and fries. I thought it was a strange item for Asian cuisine, but none the less, it was pretty good. We also ordered the Kobe beef burger and fries which was yums. And for the grand finale, my favorite part of a meal, was an amazing warm chocolate torte with coffee ice cream and rasberry compote oozing from the inside. Delish!! Overall, I loved the vibe of this place and I'd probably come back to try the dinner menu but I wouldn't say it's my favorite. Ta ta til next time...
